To those of us who’ve spent countless afternoons discovering bodies hidden in picture perfect English parsonages, Europe’s latest detective sensation might come as a huge culture shock. The Lisbeth Salander trilogy, about a bisexual, genius hacker and mentally disturbed woman, is not only a top ranking book, but a fairly successful movie franchise as well. Hollywood too is on the trail, with rumours that Quentin Tarantino, George Clooney and Brad Pitt, are all eager to grab the rights! Warning: don’t’ start off until you get all three books, it’s fairly unputdownable. And the denouement is only in the last book.
